Working in retail, mood boards were done on the regular, but it took me awhile to realize I should also be doing this at home. It’s been such a game-changer! It’s a million times easier for me to execute my vision, if I actually have a vision on paper to reference:) I’ve created mood boards for parties and bigger renovations, but I’m excited to do one for Christmas this year! The hope is that I can be more strategic with my purchases and be more organized during such a busy season. There are some good sales going on right now!
I’ve linked everything from this photo below. The wrapping link is the blog post that I found on Pinterest. It’s for DIY clay gift tags, but I’m also loving the brown, white, and black gift wrap with the greenery on top. I think you can add a lot to Christmas decor with gift wrap, whether it’s actual gifts wrapped early, or if you wrap a few empty boxes to display by the fireplace. Such an affordable way to add some decor!
I also am fully aware that red is a huge color during Christmas time, and we will definitely be finding ways to incorporate it. I’m not totally sure how just yet. Being such a minimalist and neutral lover, that’s always my biggest challenge. I can’t wait to get started!
