Rustic Thanksgiving Tablescape

I had an absolute blast putting together the super neutral Thanksgiving Tablescape a few days ago, but I had a few other ideas I wanted to try out. I wanted a tablescape with a little more greenery and some deeper tones, and Tablescape number two was born.

I know there still aren’t a ton of color pops, but for me, this is pretty bold! I am a huge fan of the black and white combination in home decor, and this place setting was a play off that element. The wood and the greenery really warm up the sharp contrast of the black and white to create a simple, yet rustic feel.

I started the table off with the centerpiece. Greenery all down the center of the table has been my go-to for awhile now. I loved adding this oversized bread board underneath for an added layer of dimension. I started with the Hearth and Hand faux eucalyptus garland that I had on hand, along with a couple other faux eucalyptus stems (pic below).

It needed more “meat”, so I went to Trader Joe’s and grabbed as much “good” greenery as I could find. My favorite is eucalyptus, and if you go early enough, there’s a ton. There wasn’t a lot of the silver dollar available, but there was a bunch with the seeds that I grabbed. I also grabbed some deep purple-ish stems for a little color. It “beefed” up the center pretty well! That sounds so odd… Where did the whole meat association come from anyway?

Once the greenery was figured out, I added my favorite black candlestick holders to give it some height and was then ready to move onto the place settings!

I couldn’t decide which place setting was my favorite, so I decided to style all three…

I used my new favorite ribbon in all three setups. The first was a little more “elegant” with the charger underneath the two black plates. I love the element of having a real pumpkin as the name card holder as well. The middle setting is similar to the tablescape I did a few days ago. A napkin simply tied with a pretty ribbon and a sprig of rosemary. The third and final option is probably the most casual but fun option because it uses the Rae Dunn plates with a few tied up cinnamon sticks on top

Last, but not least, I incorporated this adorable sign from House of Boys and Beauty. It’s so fun, coordinates perfectly, and puts a Jason Derulo song in my head every time I look at it… Doesn’t get any better than that!
