Shop Small Saturday!

Since Shop Small Saturday is coming up… well, it’s basically here… I thought it would helpful to round up some of my favorite small shops! I absolutely LOVE shopping small whenever I can. One reason is that it helps out a small business owner (they work insanely hard), and the other reason is that you get a unique product. I love finding something that not everyone else has, especially when shopping for gifts!

Decorative Wood Signs

I absolutely LOVE having signs all over our house, and there are so many different types. These are the three places I’m currently getting my decorative signs from…

Method Marketing and Design

When a couple friends started this company, I loved their designs and started out buying one of their holiday signs…. As soon as it arrived, I was HOOKED. I had never seen a sign that was so substantial, such good quality and so well made. These are heavy and three dimensional and amazing! Their specialty is custom, last name signs… Perfect for a mantel statement piece. However, they have branched out into all kinds of signs (no joke, we have 7), leather goods, throws, and amazing candles. SO many great gift ideas on their website!

House of Boys and Beauty

These signs are SO fun!! I had been eyeing them for a long time and finally bought a little Thanksgiving sign as a hostess gift for my mom this year. It’s such a well-made, fun sign, I was all over it when she launched Christmas this year. There are two holiday humor signs heading my way that I’m SO excited for. I plan on keeping them for myself this time haha.

Timber + Gray

When we did our kitchen renovation, we were so disappointed that one of the walls couldn’t be torn down as promised… Enter Timber + Gray! When she did these signs for us, we instantly fell in love with the wall. They’re just beautiful!! She has an extremely wide variety of signs and has graphic clothing items as well. She’s a great person with a great story and TONS of great gift ideas. **Huge sale going on through Thanksgiving Day**

Other Wall Decor

Two of my recent discoveries in wall decor are scrolls and hanging woven baskets. I can’t get enough of them, and these shops knock it out of the park!

Cottonwood Shanty

These scrolls are absolutely gorgeous and make such a huge statement without breaking the bank. She also has some other beautiful decor items, like the mercury glass garland I bought to top off the scrolls that are in the mail as we speak.

Teele & Co

I just recently came across this shop, and not only is she such a sweet person, but look how cute this Christmas scroll is?? I can’t wait to find a spot for this in our home this season. She has so many scrolls and sign options, all kinds of themes, and she sells super unique and gorgeous wall hooks as well.

Hanging Woven Baskets – Bouquet of Baskets

I’m including this in wall decor only because the hanging basket was the first thing I spotted. Jeanne can literally make anything, and her work is just stunning! What I love about her baskets during the holidays is that you could fill them with flowers, baked goods, or really anything… I love a good gift basket, and these handmade baskets would take it to a whole new level!

Pillow Covers/Throws

Oh Little Seed

Jackie’s style is seriously incredible. She makes me want to switch my entire home to Boho. (Thankfully, her neutral palette allows for her items to fit in literally anywhere). These pillow covers are so thick and well-made, I didn’t know covers like this existed before her! She also carries throws, beach bags, and the most beautiful bed spread I’ve ever seen. Any of her items would make a really special Christmas gift!

Hacker Home

This setup is a combination of Hackner Home and Busa Designs!

Another really great place for pillow covers is Hackner Home. I absolutely LOVE the neutral color palettes they offer, and they have such great patterns! Again, such great quality, so they add an expense factor to the room without actually being priced high.

Busa Designs

I’ve recently purchased three pillow covers from Busa Designs, and they are just gorgeous!! Again, I had no idea such high quality pillow covers existed a few months ago. The cable knit cover in this photo is so soft and cozy, and the black X Kilim cover is such an amazing accent piece. These three shops have totally changed my throw pillow perspective. **Huge sale at Busa Designs this weekend as well!!**

Miscellaneous Gift Ideas

Stamped Books & Wooden Bead Jewelry – Reef Rain Aria

These stamped books are the perfect shelf/table styling item. She makes them functional as well by including quotes and drawings on the first few pages that can be used in frames. The rest of the book is blank and can be used for journaling, as a guest book, etc. The wooden bead bracelets and earrings are SO versatile. They are easy to wear and go with everything! I have absolutely loved everything I’ve gotten from her shop so far and can’t wait to give some of these items as gifts this year too… **AND she has a sale this Friday and Saturday!**

Candle Gift Set with Match Striker – Henro Company

I’ve seen a lot of match strikers out in the last few weeks, but this was the very first one I had come across, and I think it’s GENIUS. It’s so cute and so functional, and there’s really nothing better than functional decor. These can be purchased on their own, or they can be purchased as part of a gift set along with a candle and extra matches. Candles have been used as hostess gifts for as long as I can remember, but I think adding in this cute little match striker is the perfect way to update it. She has other great things on her site as well, like wrapped books and letter boards **AND currently has a 10% off sale going on**

Decorative Wrapped Books – Interiors By Raquel

Speaking of wrapped books, this is where I found my set, and I LOVE them. These wrapped books are perfect for shelves and tabletops and literally go with anything. The fabric is the perfect color and just gorgeous, and she offers a few different patterns options. **Sale is currently 15% off from now through the weekend!**

Watercolor Artwork – Paige Bennion Art

I’m not quite sure what it is, but I’ve always had a crazy big soft spot for a good watercolor. I immediately knew that I needed these prints in our home to decorate for Christmas. As a gift, I think putting one of her paintings in a beautiful frame would be such a good one! **Sale is currently 20% off!**

Happy Shopping!!
